Welcome to Justin Thomas Consulting!
Hi, thanks for visiting my site, my name is Justin Thomas, I am an IT consultant with twenty years experience working at various levels within the IT industry. I started at age 16 on a YTS scheme and gained my first full-time job as a Junior Systems Programmer shortly after my 17th birthday.
I’ve worked my way through a variety of roles, always looking for the next challenge, mostly teaching myself and learning through experience and experimentation. Technology geekdom is something that is in my nature.
Back in 2001 I joined a company called Adaytum, this was my first role supporting external customers which put a different spin on the traditional IT support role and opened the door to consultancy.
Since I started I’ve done everything from building computers, supporting networks, email server, database servers to web design and programming.
These days it’s my goal to put my wide ranging experience to use to help others to get the most out of their IT infrastructure. I pride myself on being able to see the bigger picture, consider multiple possibilities and to be able to clearly explain highly technical concepts to audiences of any experience level.
Whether you’re a small or medium sized business looking for help or a large multinational company looking for technical expertise within the IBM Cognos product suite, please get in touch – I am confident I’ll be able to help.
